4.4 LED driver

LED driver is a simple electronic circuit which serves as an energy source for LEDs (Figure 4.4.1). The driver changes AC (grid) voltage to DC while optimizing driving current for LEDs. Modern luminaires with added value (dimming possibility, emergency unit, presence sensor, remote control, etc.) require more complex electronic circuitry.
